Mechanical bending: Here, the vertical movement of the ram is driven by a crank mechanism that is moved by a flywheel. It is well suited for simple bending processes.

Pneumatic bending: This uses air pressure to move the ram. This method is flexible and suitable for lighter tasks.

Hydraulic bending: Hydraulic fluid is used to apply pressure to the plunger to create the bend. This method is precise and ideal for complex and heavy bending tasks.
